Applications
A humidity indicator is used to indicate the relative humidity level in a sealed container without the need for the user to open the sealed container.

What are they?
The humidity indicator works like a humidity indicator card, but can be screwed into the outer wall of the sealed container. They are made of aluminum, copper or steel and have large transparent viewing Windows to read humidity levels inside the container.

Why use them?
Humidity sensitive goods are usually packed in containers that must not or cannot be opened before use. By installing humidity indicators into the walls of these containers, users are able to ensure that stored items are at a safe humidity level and are not exposed to external environmental factors while checking humidity levels.

It is made of galvanized brass with visual glass Windows with gaskets, gasket holders and nuts. It can be installed into containers through holes 0.515 in. (13.1 mm) diameter. The humidity card cannot be replaced onsite.

Installation Instructions

Operating requirements
Humidity indicators can be installed in soft moisture-proof bags, plastic and fiber bags, hard equipment, electrical components, and other humidity control spaces.
Indicator card is reversible and fluctuates with the current relative humidity level. Indicator card readings are accurate to within 5% when reading at 24°C.

Storage and treatment
-Store indicators in their original container until ready for installation.
-Do not allow the indicator to come into direct contact with water or steam because the indicator card is water-soluble. Ammonia can also damage the indicator.
