Activated carbon/charcoal is treated carbon that has the functionality to adsorb odour. Activated carbon is an excellent odour and gas adsorbent due to its highly porous and large surface area.

Activated carbon packets also perform the same task like other desiccants. They are used to control the moisture and humidity as well as to prevent mold, mildew and other damage with the help of effective moisture absorbing capacity. Not only moisture, they are also useful in removing unstable and odor particles.

Activated carbon is form of carbon processed from coconut shell to have small, low volume pores for adsorption of odour. These desiccant Sachets are available in both cut & roll form. The Sachets in cut form can be fed into the bottle directly. In case of roll form, it requires to mount on cutting machine which are directly dispensed into the bottle.

The adsorption capacity of organic gas is 5 times higher than that of ordinary activated carbon, and the adsorption speed is faster.

Cocamite has specific surface area and abundant micropore size. The specific surface area can reach 1000-1600m2/g, the volume of micropores is about 90%, and the micropore diameter is 10A-40A. It has the advantages of large specific surface area, moderate pore size, uniform distribution, fast adsorption speed and less impurities.

R&D Strength-Lab equipments

Nicepak has in-house physic labs, chemistry labs, environmental labs to experiment different tests on moisture content & absorption capacity of desiccant absorbents, physical performances of the desiccant wrapping films and flexible packaging materials, simulated transport test, etc.

So far, we've got 10 patents and our R&D team has 3 national chemical engineers and they had been invited to amend the National Standard and Industry Standard of packaged desiccants and oxygen absorber.
