MOISTURE-PROOF ADVISE FOR CONTAINERS
Nicepak small package desiccant can protect the goods in your carton from moisture to a great extent. However, in the ocean transportation of goods, the container rain will cause damage to your goods due to the temperature difference between day and night. In order to prevent this, we recommend that you also use the desiccant DC-1000g and DC-1400g specially designed for containers.
How to use container desiccant DC-1000g and DC-1400g?
(1)Check containers to ensure:
1, The container is dry and clean, does not leak air and water, and is suitable for shipping goods;
2, The container is not damaged: close the container door, there is no "obvious light leakage" from the inside, and there are no cracks or holes on the container wall, top and bottom;
3, The container door can be closed tightly, and the rubber used for the door seal should be good;
4, The wooden boards of the container before loading must be dry, clean, and free of obvious wet stains.
(2)Check water content of container wood floor:
1, It is better not to use containers with wooden floor humidity exceeding 20%. If containers cannot be selected, the amount of desiccant needs to be appropriately increased. For every 1.5% increase in humidity, 1 kg of desiccant should be added accordingly;
2, Please do not use containers with wooden floor humidity exceeding 25%.
NOTICE FOR USING DESICCANT
1, Do not expose the desiccant to the air for a long time. For example, pour out lots of desiccant in one time and put it on the paper box or work table for use.
2, Please leave a space of 1 to 2 cm on the top or around the carton. Do not cover and squeeze the desiccant.
3, When using DC-1000g, if there is insufficient space on the left and right sides of the container, please hang the DC-1000g on the hanging ring and put the bottom end of the desiccant on the top of the goods. As shown in the picture below:
